How to get in
Students must have finished senior high school or gymnasium in order to be admitted to the Multimedia programme.
Students with a background in another education can be admitted based upon an individual evaluation on the student and the actual exams.
How to apply
The start date of the study programme is 1 September. An optional but recommended induction week for international students is offered in the last week of August.
For Danish and EU applicants (including applicants from Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Lichtenstein)
Admission takes place via the Danish KOT forms (“coordinated application forms”) that can be downloaded from
www.optagelse.dk. Note that you need both “Application Form” and “Priority Form”.

If you can't apply electronically, you can get KOT application forms from the IBA, and also print blank forms from
www.optagelse.dk (include CV and copy of exam certificates). In addition to filling in the above forms, you must enclose a CV and copies of examination results or certificates to confirm your educational level and qualifications.
The application deadline is 1st June if you want the IBA to help you finding accommodation, otherwise the deadline is 5th July.

Tuition Fee
EU citizens and citizens of Liechtenstein, Iceland, Switzerland and Norway are automatically eligible for free tuition. This can also apply to students from other countries who have Danish residency
Citizens from other countries who are not eligible for free tuition pay € 8.775 per year (total for the two years € 17.450). The fee for the first year must be paid upon enrolment. The fee for the second year must be paid before the end of Semester 2 in the first year.
The fee includes books that are compulsory reading (approximate value € 700). A copy fee of € 30 is also included.
Visa
If students come from countries where a visa to study in Denmark is required, the Danish Foreign Ministry requires proof that they have sufficient funds to support themselves while studying and living in Denmark.
Normally a visa is issued only when the first year fee has been paid in full.
