Coventry University is a major UK Higher Education institution with more than 15,000 students and a 150 years of history behind its name. The university has an established academic presence both regionally, nationally and internationally.
The university occupies a purpose-built 33-acre campus in the heart of Coventry City-centre, directly opposite the world-famous cathedral where the graduation ceremonies are held.
The university comprises three academic faculties and two schools, namely, the Faculty of Business, Environment and Society; the Faculty of Engineering and Computing; the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences; the School of Art and Design; and the School of Lifelong Learning.
Recent teaching quality assessments conducted by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), higher education's quality watchdog, have found Coventry's teaching to be in the 'excellent' range, ie 21 or more points out of a possible 24 for a wide range of their provision, with 22 points in Business and Management.
