Health Insurance
Before you come to Denmark you must make sure that you are covered for the first period while you are in Denmark. EU (including EEA) citizens are normally covered by the health service in their own country if they hold a health insurance card or a form E-128. Non-EU citizens may not be covered and must make sure they have proper health insurance. When EU citizens have registered to stay in Denmark they will be eventually covered by the Danish national health insurance. Non-EU citizenswill be covered 6 weeks after they are registered at a „fixed“ address.
Liability
We strongly advise that you get a liability insurance while you are in Denmark. The price for one year is about 400 DKK.
Household furniture insurance
In Danish "Indbo forsikring" is important if you want to be covered in case of burglary, fire etc. Most of these insurances also cover you if you need a lawyer in case of a law suit. The price for one year is about 1,600 DKK.
