After the AP-programme
Looking ahead, the IBA offers students substantial support and advice in job-hunting and career planning.
The Multimedia programme provides the foundations for a career in a variety of jobs. In general most careers are related to communication or design with digital and interactive media or they are related to product development. Other careers are related to innovation in private or public companies.
Typical multimedia responsibilities are to create multimedia presentations, brochures, promotional products, web pages, computer artwork, technical illustrations for use in products, slide shows, technical manuals and other subjects, designs and illustrations for direct mail.
A number of Multimedia Designers work in more multifunctional IT-jobs, working partly with the typical multimedia responsibilities and partly with network and other more traditional elements in the IT-sector.
The content of the IBA’s programme reflects that a many jobs in the multimedia area requires visualization abilities and are detail as well as planning oriented.
