Research Project

Having completed the 4 programme areas, the student is to write a Research Project to finish the BA Degree.

Contents
The Research Project, delivered at the end of the study programme, must include the following:

Demonstration through practical application of a comprehensive understanding of elements/theories from one or more programme areas
Analysis and resolution of a business problem or issue
Collation, processing, and analysis of mainly primary data
Collation, processing and application of latest research results

A project proposal laying out the scope of the project must be approved by the lecturer before the actual writing begins.

Length of Research Project
The length of the report varies from subject to subject. The individual student will agree with the lecturer on the formal requirements as well as the contents.

The length is typically 30 – 60 standard pages.

Oral Examination
There will be an oral examination at which the student will discuss and defend the research project.
If the Research Project is not passed on first submission, the student may deliver a revised version for re-evaluation at a date determined by the IBA administration.
