Module Aims

To enable students to develop proficiency in doing primary research, structuring and presenting comprehensive material in a logical and coherent way. To enable students independently to plan, manage and implement suggestions for strategic solutions related to practical work situations.

Module Learning Outcomes

• To enable students to reflect on the impact of various internal and external environmental aspects on management decision making in the global market place – thus allowing students to understand and identify the general forces that affect management decision making and to develop a personal solution strategy at a management level.
• To enable students to apply critical thinking skills, competences and initiative in conducting independent research for a complex and open-ended research problem within an international context.
• To enable students to critically evaluate concepts, techniques, theoretical perspectives and findings of existing research.
• To enable students to analyse, evaluate and synthesise ideas and information, and communicate these effectively.
