Our Business Management across Europe programme immerses students in a truly trans-European experience. Over the course of this unique bachelor’s programme, you will study three years in three different countries, which enables you to develop yourself, become independent and get new perspectives on the world.
The first year is at the IBA International Business Academy in Kolding, Denmark.
The second year at UC Leuven-Limburg (University College Leuven-Limburg) in Belgium.
In your third year, there is a choice of several universities in France, Germany, Ireland and the UK.

You will get first-hand experience with languages and cultures. You will learn how these aspects play an important role in international business, thereby advancing your international profile considerably.
As a graduate of the Business Management across Europe programme, you can find employment in management and marketing within Danish and international companies.
Business Management across Europe is a 3-year full-time programme, developed by IBA in cooperation with international partner universities, and it consists of compulsory subjects, electives, an internship and a final exam project.
One of the many assets that the programme has to offer is that, after completing the module successfully, you will get a double degree that consists of:
1) The degree from the institution where the student graduates in year 3:
- Coventry University: “Bachelor (Hons) in International Business Management”
- London South Bank University: “Bachelor (Hons) in Marketing with Digital”
- Rennes School of Business: “International Bachelor Programme in Management”
- University of Worcester: “Bachelor (Hons) in International Business Management”
- Dublin Business School: “Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Marketing”
- Fachhochschule Aachen: “Bachelor of Science in International Business Studies”
2) The degree “Bachelor International Business Management – Marketing” from University Colleges Leuven-Limburg (UCLL), Belgium. This degree is accredited by the NVAO.

What will you learn?
With the Business Management across Europe programme, you learn about:
- Marketing
- Management
- Communication
- Economics
All in the European context, and you will learn about which factors play important roles in trading among European countries.
Additionally, you will learn about law, ethics, and psychology, in order to be able to analyse differences and equalities.

At the IBA International Business Academy, we work with various methods for learning and teaching. For instance:

It means that your weeks in school are not all the same, and you will experience the kind of real life challenges that you’re bound to encounter when getting your first job.
During the first year you will be part of the BSc in International Business Management course, which is delivered, and assessed by the IBA and is awarded, and quality assured by Coventry University.
All teaching and all exams are in English.

Over the course of this unique bachelor’s programme, you will study three years in three different countries.
Year 1 – at International Business Academy, Kolding, Denmark
Programme: BSc in International Business Management

- The Economics of International Business– 20 CATS
- Internal Business Dynamics– 20 CATS.
SEMESTER 2
- Entrepreneurial Ideation– 20 CATS
- Business Decision Making Using Data Analysis– 20 CATS
- Managing Multicultural Organisational Environments– 20 CATS.
Foreign language course equivalent to 5 ECTS workload is a mandatory part of the BME programme.
At the IBA you can learn Chinese at no additional costs. We offer Chinese courses at different levels. You will be enrolled at a level corresponding to your level from beginner HSK 1 to HSK6.

Internship
- The programme includes a 16-week compulsory internship during semester 4. It can be taken anywhere in the world. You are responsible for finding your internship yourself. You can make use of UCLL’s network.

When you apply for the Business Management across Europe programme, you enroll at BSc in International Business Management at IBA.
In order to participate in the Business Management across Europe program, you have to study 3 years in three different countries. It is required to complete the 1st year at IBA, before you can move to Belgium.
Please note: if you apply for this programme, you cannot stay at IBA and continue your studies at the IBM programme. You are expected to move to your next destination.
After completion of the 2nd year in Belgium, you have the opportunity to choose between institutions in the UK, Ireland, France and Germany, where you complete the final year of the program.

With this degree, your typical career possibilities are within management and marketing, especially in companies with a strong multinational profile.
Study environment and teaching methods at the IBA
Teaching takes place in classes comprising between 30 and 40 students, giving you an excellent opportunity to enjoy a good social life with your fellow students. You will experience teaching approaches emphasizing theory as well as practice.
The instruction is based on projects, many of which are carried out in cooperation with local and national businesses, and the tasks are normally carried out in groups. You must be prepared to make an independent effort and to cooperate with your fellow students.
Some of the project tasks, and the final project in particular, are independent tasks, carried out on the basis of the theory that you have learned. The projects should be based on specific cases from businesses, insofar as this is possible. You will be given good advice and constructive criticism along the way.
Further education
With successful completion of this degree, you can automatically progress to a master’s level degree at the participating universities and many other universities throughout the world.

Admission requirements
- You must have finished an education equivalent to a Danish upper secondary education, or relevant vocational education on the same level. - There are no subject specific requirements for this course (all streams/faculties are accepted)
- English proficiency level equivalent to min. IELTS 6.0 (no sub scores below 5.5).

Financial matters
Tuition fee
1st year – International Business Academy, Denmark

- If you apply for more than one programme at IBA, the application fee to IBA must be paid only once.
- All applicants regardless of their citizenship must pay tuition fee for the course.
Non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizens: The tuition fee for the course is DKK 75,000 for the first year
EU/EEA/Swiss citizens: The tuition fee for the course is DKK 48,100 for the first year
EU/EEA/Swiss citizens can pay the tuition fee in 2 installments, DKK 24,050 x 2 (only available to EU/EEA/Swiss citizens)
What is and isn’t included in the tuition fee?
The fee includes all teaching and exams, learning support and administrative costs.
The tuition fee does not include the cost of visa, books, accommodation, food, international travel or local transportation. Students admitted to the study course are advised to purchase the recommended book package before or upon arrival at the IBA. Tuition fee payment deadline will be stated in the admission notice.
The monthly living costs in Kolding approx. DKK 5,000 – 6,000 (approx. 700 – 800 EUR)
Scholarships:
We do not offer scholarships for this course.

Explore career opportunities in the world of global business
With the Business Management across Europe programme, you will be well equipped to work in a variety of different industries – most likely for international companies. You will use your theoretical knowledge to develop concrete strategies or measures that can drive forward the agenda of multinational companies. You will also obtain a skillset that qualifies you to build a multinational enterprise from a purely domestic business.
WIth your basic understanding of global economics, international marketing and general international management, you will be able to aid business executives in decision making regarding everything from business strategies to entering emerging markets.
