What will you learn?
- Prepares students for international management careers and/or opportunities for postgraduate study, by ensuring knowledge of key areas of international business and management whilst gaining an understanding of the integrated nature of business.
- Provide students with opportunities to achieve their full academic potential, with the ability to analyse and evaluate global business and management issues in a considered and competent manner taking full account of ethical and sustainability issues.
- Enable students to develop autonomy in their learning and to acquire the self-development skills needed for self-management and continued professional development, while instilling a responsible and ethical attitude towards people and the environment
- Prepare graduates for a career in international business management and provide students with the knowledge and practical skills to understand the international business environment, global business strategy and the key functions of global organisations.
- On successful completion of the course, you have the opportunity to apply to the MSc in International Business (full-time), MSc in Business and Organisational Psychology (full-time) or E-MSc in International Business (e-learning) at the IBA.
Course Structure
This course is delivered, and assessed by the IBA and is awarded, and quality assured by Coventry University. This course leads to a Coventry University degree award.
It is a 3-year (6-semester) bachelor’s course consisting of 17 taught modules:

- Internal Business Dynamics– 20 CATS.

- Entrepreneurial Ideation– 20 CATS
- Business Decision Making Using Data Analysis– 20 CATS
- Managing Multicultural Organisational Environments– 20 CATS.
SEMESTER 3
- Managing People in a Global Context- 20 CATS
- Principles of Business Accounting- 20 CATS
- Global Trade and Emerging Markets – 20 CATS.
SEMESTER 4
- Marketing Management- 20 CATS
- Global Sustainable Supply Chains- 20 CATS
- Managing Global Projects- 20 CATS.
SEMESTER 5
- International Business Strategy- 20 CATS

Admission requirements
- You must have finished an education equivalent to a Danish upper secondary education, or relevant vocational education on the same level. - There are no subject specific requirements for this course (all streams/faculties are accepted)
English language proficiency level equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or higher.
Applicants must submit a valid, recognised international English proficiency test.

- All applicants eligible for admission to the course will have to complete an online admission interview. If the applicant does not show up for the interview, the application will not be considered further.
- Relevant professional experience will be considered in the evaluation of applications.
Non-standard applications may be considered for entry to the course and will be at the discretion of the Course Director.

You must attach documentation to support the information mentioned in your application. All relevant documentation must be attached to your application in the system by the above-stated application deadline.
Mandatory documentation:
- Upper Secondary School Diploma and Transcripts of records (Copy of original and translation*)
- AP Degree or equivalent and Transcripts of records with min. 120 ECTS or 240 CATS (Copy of original and translation*)
If you have not finished your degree at the time of application, you must provide detailed Transcripts of records, mentioning the expected date of graduation.

If you want to make your application more competitive and be assessed on additional qualifications, you can provide the following documentation:
- Other relevant educational activity (higher education, relevant supplementary training/courses)
- Relevant work experience, incl. internships and compulsory military service (max. 12 months)

- Other activities, such as stays abroad.
Financial matters
Tuition fee
All applicants regardless of their citizenship must pay tuition fee for the course.
The tuition fee is DKK 225,000 for the full course (DKK 75,000 for the first year + 4 x DKK 37,500/semester).
The tuition fee can be payed in 6 installments, DKK 37,500 x 6 (only available to EU/EEA/Swiss citizens and non-EU/EEA/Swiss legal residents in Denmark at the moment of application).
The fee includes all teaching and exams, learning support and administrative costs. The tuition fee does not include the cost of visa, books, accommodation, food, international travel or local transportation. Students admitted to the study course are advised to purchase the recommended book package before or upon arrival at the IBA.
Tuition fee payment deadline will be stated in your admission notice.
Scholarships
We do not offer scholarships for this course.
The course is not entitled to the Danish State Education Support (SU). Read more at www.su.dk.

With a Bachelor of Science in International Business Management, you will be well equipped to work in a variety of different industries – most likely for international companies. You will use your theoretical knowledge to develop concrete strategies or measures that can drive forward the agenda of multinational companies.
