English language requirements for study courses in cooperation with Coventry University, UK
All applicants must present one of the following valid recognised international English proficiency tests, with a result equivalent to or better than stated in the table below, when applying for the following programmes:
- BSc (Honours) in International Business Management (Coventry University)
- BA (top-up) (Honours) in International Business (Coventry University)
- BSc (top-up) (Honours) in Informatics (Coventry University)
- MSc in Business and Organisational Psychology (Coventry University)
- MSc in International Business (Coventry University)
- MBA in General Management (Coventry University)
The English language proficiency certificate must be valid by the given application deadline for the specific study course.

*OOPT scores can only be used in lieu of IELTS by EU/EEA/Swiss nationals. OOPT tests must have been taken at the IBA itself or with an approved IBA representative abroad. Test result must be no more than 1 year old at the date of application. Please contact us at apply@iba.dk to enquire whether a test can be offered in your case.
** IB (International Baccalaureate) scores can only be used in lieu of IELTS by EU/EEA/Swiss nationals.
Exemptions
Entry qualification obtained in Denmark
Applicants holding an English-taught AP or BA degree from the IBA or other Danish educational institution. The applicant must provide documentation that the programme was taught in English.
Nordic entrance exam holders
Applicants holding Nordic entrance exams (Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Iceland). The documentation for these applicants will be assessed according to the standard requirements for Danish applicants.
Native speakers
Native speakers of English and applicants with a qualifying examination with on-campus tuition in USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, or Ireland. The applicant must provide documentation that the programme was taught in English.
African applicants
Some African entry qualifications, obtained in English-speaking African countries, can also be accepted in lieu of IELTS. Please see our International Qualifications page for further information.
Please note that applicants with a qualifying examination from all other countries than the above-mentioned (including countries where the language of instruction is English), must submit an IELTS, TOEFL, PTE or Cambridge test.
