The Danish Parliament has reached a decision to close English-taught programmes at all Danish Business Academies and University Colleges from September 2022.

For IBA this means that we must close the following programmes:

  • AP Degree in Marketing Management
  • AP Degree in Multimedia Design
  • PBA in International Sales and Marketing

Current students and students starting their studies on the above-mentioned programmes in September 2021 and January 2022 can complete their studies as planned.

Study programmes offered in collaboration with our UK partners (Coventry University and Leeds Beckett University) will not be affected by this decision.

Progression from AP Degrees to top-up bachelor’s degrees:

Students finishing AP Degree in January 2022 or earlier, can still apply for English-taught top-up PBA in International Sales and Marketing at IBA with study start in February 2022.

IBA is working on different possibilities for students graduating from an AP Degree after February 2022, in order to be able to progress at a top-up Degree in Denmark. More information about this will be provided in August/September 2021.

International students can always apply for Danish-taught top-up degrees at IBA and other Danish academies if they meet the Danish language skills requirements.
